The Vegetarian Lacto-Ovo Meal is free of all animal product; no meats, no poultry, no fish, no shellfish, however, may contain eggs, and dairy products. It is a meal full of fruits, vegetables, legumes, eggs, dairy, soybean foods, nuts, grains, yeast, seeds, spice & seasoning. Our Vegetarian Vegan Meal is prepared as a Western style dish.

Approximately 8,000,000 Americans or 3.4% of the adult population follow the Vegetarian diet.

Fortunately, our body can fight illness and disease by consuming foods limited in animal protein, and saturated fats. it has been determined that Vegetarian meals full in nutritional value and with low animal fats and moderate caloric value can be beneficial to a healthy lifestyle.

Healthy Vegetarian (Lacto-Ovo) meals are prepared Western style, and full in nutritional value, and consist of:

Non-Animal Protein = 25 grams average per meal (Eggs and Dairy such as milk, yogurt, butter, cheese is permitted)

Carbohydrates = 45 grams average per meal

Fiber = 15 grams average per meal

Monosaturated & Polyunsaturated Fat = 20 grams average per meal (no saturated animal fats)

Sugars = <10 grams average per meal

Cholesterol = <100 mg per meal

We focus on using fresh whole plant-based foods following a holistic approach common to the Mediterranean diet. Some of our meals permit non-GMO fish and shellfish, lean poultry, along with organic eggs and non-dairy product. We do not use red and other white meats, game, and fowl in our cookery. There is a minimal use of saturated fats, sugar, sodium and plenty of high fiber foods with a moderate caloric value as our preference to satisfy your dietary needs and culinary wishes. Principles from the Cornell University Center for Nutritional Studies are followed to transform a healthy body, mind and spirit.
